Outer Echo provides the acoustic foundation for the next generation of digital environments, where rigid audio workflows are replaced by adaptive spatial pipelines that ensure sound remains physically consistent in non-linear environments. From real-time audio physical modeling to high-density spatial processing, our technologies are engineered for acoustic nuance while delivering high-fidelity immersion and elastic computational efficiency in captured or imagined virtual worlds.

AURORA Spatial

Currently in advanced development, AURORA Spatial is a C++ SDK engineered to create a direct physical correspondence between sound and the geometry of interactive digital spaces . Built on our proprietary AWRA and ARGO technologies, AURORA utilizes physical modeling and time-domain signal processing to simulate how sound interactively propagates, reflects, diffracts, and acoustically couples within complex acoustic environments.

> Native 6D Spatial Audio
AURORA is founded on a true six-degree-of-freedom (6DoF) architecture. By accounting for both position and orientation together with scene geometry, the engine ensures the acoustic field remains perspective-correct and physically-consistent as users navigate through dynamic, non-linear environments.

> Generative Acoustic Propagation
Instead of manual “audio bubbles”, pre-baked acoustic zones, or impulse response convolution processing, our engine maintains a physical model of the scene to render a wide variety of sound phenomena in real-time. This allows the creation of virtual acoustic environments—where multiple obstacles, sources and listeners are in continuous movement and rotation—that can be flexibly modified and freely navigated, empowering artists with the ability to apply updates instantly without baking.

> Emergent Acoustic Phenomena
Our physics-based approach enables the real-time emergence of sophisticated audio behaviors such as reflection, diffraction, diffusion, reverberation, large-scale sound propagation, acoustic coupling, occlusion, Doppler, directivity, and more.

> Flexible Computational Cost Through the integration of the AWRA and ARGO technologies, AURORA balances automatically high-fidelity physical accuracy with computational cost. This synergy allows the engine to adaptively scale its processing density dynamically across a wide range of hardware profiles.

Living Sky

Living Sky is a professional audio plugin providing a comprehensive toolset that brings unprecedented spatial rendering capacity to consumer-grade hardware. Developed in partnership with MNTRA and GPU Audio, it leverages massively parallel GPU convolution and high-performance 3D Ambisonics to redefine the limits of immersive audio producton.

> Massively Parallel GPU Convolution
By offloading convolution to the GPU, Living Sky manages over five hundred concurrent, low-latency impulse response processing channels with minimal CPU impact. This allows standard consumer systems to render vast, complex acoustic scenes without the need for required specialized, high-overhead hardware.

> Extended-spectrum spatial resolution
Supporting up to 5th-order HOA spatial resolution and ultra-high sample rates (up to 192 kHz), the system preserves extended-range frequency content. This allows ultrasonic spatial captures of acoustic environments to be size-transformed and manipulated without losing fidelity or spectral detail.

> Spatial Control
Through a highly intuitive interface including a separate 3D control app interfaced via Open Sound Control, Living Sky provides deep control over the shape and movement of sound. With support for up to 64 audio inputs per instance, users can dynamically modulate 15 multi-channel reverb spaces simultaneously, transforming static environments into expressive, performable instruments.

> Universal Format Support
Engineered for demanding pro-audio and immersive media workflows, the engine supports a wide array of decoding formats—including Binaural, AmbiX, 7.1.4 Atmos, 22.2, and more.
